Release Day!

January 27, 2010

The Phoenix Files: Contact is now available in bookstores across Australia and New Zealand!

If you’ve read Arrival, this should hopefully start to answer some of your questions … as well as posing a bunch of new mysteries for you to ponder.  (And since school is starting up again, you might even be able to convince your parents to buy it for you as a highly-educational back-to-school present!)

Really looking forward to hearing what you think!

To celebrate the release of the book, I’m doing an event at Shearers on Norton after school on Thursday, February 25th. More details on that soon.

In the meantime, I’ve got less than two weeks to finish the first draft of The Phoenix Files: Mutation … back to work!

I love your book The Phoenix Files. I just can’t wait until the second book! Are you doing a third?

    Thanks Claudia!

There will be 6 Phoenix Files books altogether. I’ve just finished my first draft of the third book (The Phoenix Files: Mutation), which will be out in August this year.

Chris, Well done on the first book- Arrival. I have taken a break from the classroom and was keen to get back into reading. I was looking for something that wasnt full of jargon and was over reading policy documents and school papers (if you get my drift). I found your book so easy to follow and had enough information to suck me in to wondering whats going to happen next. I read this book late last year and was quite disappointed that I had to wait to February for the next installment. Again Chris – well done and I am looking forward to finding out where the story will go.
